HOW DOES IT WORK

How copper and silver deactivate viruses and kill bacteria;

1. When a microbe lands on the surface the copper of silver releases ions. This is normal reaction and is well-known for many years. These ions are electrically charged.
2. Copper and silver ions react with moist and oxygen in order to produce reactive oxygen.
3. The ions and reactive oxygen combined destroy the outer membrane of the virus and bacteria and with that destroy the cells of the virus and bacteria. With the destruction of the cell, the DNA or RNA in the cell is also destroyed.
4. The result is that all microbes are de-activated. Viruses can’t be transferred and bacteria can’t multiply anymore!
